Music

You’ll notice that at Sacred Heart we do not use a PA system or amplifiers. We want to be able to hear everyone’s voice, not just the one or two singers with microphones. We keep things simple because we value participation. We sing a mix of traditional hymns, gospel bluegrass, the occasional newer tune, and even original works from time to time. We love to worship God with our voices.

Sermons

Sermons at Sacred Heart are typically between ten and fifteen minutes followed by a time of congregational discussion in which we break into small groups and discuss anything from the service that has stuck out to us. We know it feels a bit awkward, but we strongly believe that everyone’s voice matters so we just embrace the awkwardness and learn from each other!
